Help? I Need To Make A Video Tutorial... Options

I tried using Captivate by Adobe to make a video tutorial, but no matter what I did it wouldn't compress less than over 200,000 MB as a SWF. Can someone suggest to me a better program? I'm trying simply to show how to install and set up software on a hosting platform. 5 minutes long with captions as the process happens.

Or if there's a trick I've missed to compressing it in Captivate, can someone tell me what it is?
